    Sometimes the rush in our lives brings about certain contradictions. On the one hand we are time limited so fast food becomes a practical choice and on the other hand we are bombarded with ads that tell us we should cut down on fast food, but we do not have the time, and many times the budget, to go for more time demanding meals. As we rush around we find that our eating habits are not what they should be and in fact many times go completely against recommended practices.

    Also this type of life together with the uncomfortable but undeniable aging process, makes our waists expand – which is not good news for our self esteem.

    So, it is time for a diet.

    When you go on a diet, you look for a fairly controlled diet that is low in fats and calories so that you can lose the weight that is bothering you. What can you do? Can you eat fast food while on a diet?

    Everything works in moderation even fast food. The real issue that you need to look at is how much fats and calories are in the fast food of your choice and to a lesser extent sugars and salt in the food. If you eat in moderation, it will be fine to eat this type of food. Moderation is the key.

    Fast food is not the enemy here. Fast food should be seen just like any other high calorie meal or item that you have during your day. If you work these in to your day planning on that high calorie intake, your weight loss diet will not be effected negatively at all.
